Technical Storekeeper & Purchasing Coordinator
9 month fixed-term contract
This is a part-time position and the hours of work will be 10:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday. A degree of flexibility around these hours would be expected.
Reporting to Technical procurement, you will work closely with the engineering team on site and will have responsibility to ensure delivery of goods and services to the internal users.
Duties will include, but-not-limited-to;
· Managing local suppliers
· Monitoring timely confirmation of purchase orders
· Delivery of ordered goods
· Timely execution of ordered services
· Receipt of vendor invoices
· Resolution of operational issues with external vendors
You will also be responsible for the daily operation of the Technical Stores and appropriate KPI’s for both areas. Full training will be provided.
This role will require a high degree of flexibility and will include supporting the engineering team by dealing with and liaising with on-site stakeholders and contractors.
Candidates are required to demonstrate the following skills;
· Excellent communication
· Work unsupervised
· Workload management and prioritisation
· High level PC literacy
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Negotiation skills
A working knowledge of Pirana or other similar maintenance planning system, and the desire to develop in this area would be highly advantageous.

Salary: £12,152.16 per year
