An experienced Waiter/ess is required for our friendly, family run, full service restaurant in Goring by Sea. The hours available are 2/3 shifts a week between Monday to Saturday 9am - 4pm and an occasional evening shift. Average weekly hours are expected to be between 12-16 hours a week with extra shifts/hours available on a regular basis so flexibility is essential.
This position is a long term, permanent role so is not suitable if you are returning to College/ University after the summer and therefore will not be available for midweek daytime shifts.
The main duties are providing full table service, from taking orders to taking payments, setting up the restaurant for service and closing down the restaurant at the end of the shift.
Experience in a restaurant or a front of house role is essential and you should have a positive, outgoing personality, be confident around people and have the ability to work as part of a team who deliver consistent, friendly service with a smile.
Wages are paid weekly and additional benefits include a share of gratuities (approx £10-£25 a shift), holiday pay, pension contribution scheme and staff discount scheme. Pay rate dependant on age and experience.
